Hove 23

Following the subdivision of the original site, 23 Hove Street was conceived as a refined new residence that balances classic influence with contemporary ease. The design draws subtly from Hamptons inspiration — expressed through soft tonal layering, natural timber elements and a restrained material palette — while remaining grounded in its inner-city setting.

A sense of openness defines the home, with generous ceiling heights and fluid transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces. Light was a key consideration throughout, shaping the layout and enhancing the connection to the private rear entertaining area. The architectural intent was to create a residence that feels both composed and welcoming — structured yet relaxed.

Internally, bespoke joinery and carefully selected finishes introduce texture and warmth, complementing the home’s clean lines and coastal undertones. The result is a contemporary family home with timeless cues — elegant without excess, and thoughtfully crafted to sit comfortably within the evolving Highgate Hill streetscape.
